Can you rock almost any station on the line? Do you have at least 2 years experience in a hands on, full service kitchen as a leader on the line? If so we'd like to talk with you! We are seeking a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef, someone who can spend long stretches of time on the line, working a position in either Grill, Sautee, Fry or Pantry. This role will help us lead our kitchen and will be a great entry point for someone skilled who is looking to continue to grow and develop into a Sous Chef, or Chef.

Assist with the daily operations of the kitchen and provide professional leadership and direction to kitchen personnel. Ensure that all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet restaurant’s specifications and commitment to quality. Maintain a safe, orderly and sanitized kitchen.

We are looking for Sous Chefs who:
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospitality role; preferably in a full service and/or upscale restaurant concept.
Is comfortable working a station on the line through much of your shift.
Should have good knife skills and prep ability.
Has the ability to supervise, coach, develops, lead & motivate employees.
Can establish, maintain and enforce consistently high performance standards.
Is capable of adapting his/her leadership style to a variety of situations and scenarios.
Have the ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to speak and write in English. Ability to listen effectively, process information quickly, and transfer knowledge to others in order to ensure standards of quality are met consistently.

We are searching for a strong Assistant Manager with experience in the restaurant/bar/hospitality industry to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role! We are seeking someone with strong dedication to our high standards in order to achieve excellent results. We are a full-service restaurant/bar in the heart of Downtown New Haven. We have a focus on quality, inventive food, outstanding service and relationships with our customers, in a beautiful environment. As an Assistant Manager you will work under the direction of the GM to participate in managing a growing business. You will oversee staff and guest service during your shifts, participate in the financial management of the entire restaurant, and be integral to our success.

Duties will include but not be limited to training staff, overseeing shifts, and engaging with our guests at all times. This is a floor manager position, NOT an office or clipboard management position! This position requires a Manager with talent for leading others by example and providing exceptional service to your guests, and importantly someone who can grow with us and take the reigns of a restaurant as General Manager in the future. This position REQUIRES someone who has had at least 1 year of full service restaurant/bar management experience at the Assistant Manager level or equivalent. We are NOT a chain environment.
